Château Fourcas-Borie is an estate in the Listrac area of the Haut Médoc appellation and was purchased by the Borie family (who also own Château Ducru-Beaucaillou) in 2009. The 2014 is a classically wrought Left Bank Bordeaux blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. Medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, it offers charming notes of sweet black fruits, tobacco, wild herbs and pencil shavings.
