Château Figeac 1979 is a mature-vintage red wine from the St-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux. Owned by the Manoncourt family since 1892, this fine estate traces its history back to the Roman era. Today, the property spans approximately 40 hectares of vineyards, with the majority of the grapes going into the celebrated Grand Vin, a classic style of Saint-Émilion with wonderful texture and tannic power. "A well-knit, extremely balanced wine, with lovely fruit flavors and an enticing finish. Offers delicate raspberry and other berry aromas, a balance of fine fruit flavors and integrated tannins.
