The Confuron family boasts a rich heritage at the forefront of Burgundian winemaking, even having a Pinot Noir clone named in their honour. Their vineyards have a longstanding commitment to avoiding synthetic herbicides or pesticides, and they meticulously manage yields through practices like pruning and green harvesting. This particular cuvée comes from the Grand Cru Échezéaux, where they own a 0.48-hectare plot. The 2010 vintage in Burgundy was exceptionally remarkable, yielding wines that were truly outstanding, especially in the Côte de Nuits region.
