The 2018 Soldaat from acclaimed winemaker, Eben Sadie, is a wonderful Grenache Noir from Piekenierskloof planted at 708m elevation and vinified entirely in concrete. It is lighter in style than previous vintages, offering bright and pretty notes of wild strawberry, spices and dried flowers. It is fresh and lively with a fine backbone of tannin.
