Château de Ferrand is owned by members of the Chandon family alongside the family of Baron Biche, who are famous for the Bic ballpoint pen, and in recent years has seen significant strides forward in quality and consistency. From the exceptionally high-quality 2015 vintage, this is a superb release comprising79% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is rich, full-bodied and fleshy, with silky tannins and a wonderfully long, lingering finish.
