d`Angles Grand Vin Blanc 2006

75 cl
£37.80
Having been technical director at Château Lafite-Rothschild for 8 years, Eric Faber went in search of great terroir in the South of France which led him to Château d’Anglès in the Languedoc sub-region of La Clape. The Grand Vin Blanc is produced from Bourboulenc (40%), Grenache Blanc (20%), Roussanne (20%) and Marsanne (20%) from gnarly old vines planted in hard limestone scree vineyards. Limpid pale yellow-gold in colour, it has wonderful aromas of tropical fruits, sweet spices, honey and nuts. Mouth-coating and creamy, it has lovely aromatic intensity on the palate and finished long, fresh and elegant.
