Danbury Ridge is a relatively new English wine producer, founded in 2014 by the Bunker family. The estate is located in the Crouch Valley in Essex, where the Bunkers have chosen to plant a variety of grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Bacchus. Their single-vineyard ‘Octagon Block Chardonnay 2020’ is a beautifully balanced wine, featuring aromas of white flowers, honey, and orange zest. The palate is rich and creamy, with notes of ripe apple, pear, and citrus.
