The Dalmore distillery has been operating on the banks of the Cromarty Firth since its foundation in 1839. In recent times, Dalmore’s range has expanded considerably, with a core range of 12, 15, 18 and 25-year-old expressions, as well as no-age-statement specialty and limited-edition offerings. This 2007 vintage release was matured in a combination of Amoroso, Apostoles, and Matusalem sherry casks as well as Marsala wine barrels. Bottled at 46.5% ABV, the whisky is rich and fruity, with notes of orange liqueur, apples and dried herbs.
