100% Marsanne, produced from old vines aged 60-100 years old. Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné bought the ‘Domaine Raymond Roure’ vineyard from the family of the same name in 1996. Located in the commune of Gervans, to the north of Tain l’Hermitage. Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, fermented in concrete eggs and oak barrels, (15% new), aged on fine lees. The 2019 is a wonderfully crisp white, with notes of bright citrus, white flowers and glorious minerality. Good concentration on the palate is balanced by refreshing acidity and a long finish.
