Domaine du Tunnel is a small family estate run by Stéphane Robert and his wife Sandrine, covering 10 hectares of vines located in Cornas, Saint-Péray and Saint-Joseph. Stéphane’s Cornas is made from 15 parcels of Syrah from several lieu-dits, conferring the wine layers of complexity and character. It spends 14 months in four-year-old oak barriques to add roundness without masking the fruit. It has a lovely deep colour with a vibrant and spicy nose of fragrant black fruits. The tannins are smooth but structured.
