Using the know-how gained in La Rioja, Bodegas Roda launched Bodegas La Horra in Ribera del Duero in 1999. The winery produces only two cuvées, Corimbo and Corimbo I. Corimbo is a 100% Tinta del País [aka Tempranillo] from organic 20-year-old vines. The wine is aged in French and American oak for 12 months, and the result is a balanced, harmonious wine, with a rich, bright fruit core due to a shorter maceration time. Elegant, restrained but deep, with tight tannins that are juicy and sweet.
