Chryseia 2016

In 1999, top Portuguese wine producer Symington formed a partnership with the Prats family of Bordeaux to create an exceptional still wine from the Douro Valley. And so the first Prats & Symington wine was launched, Chryseia 2000, which received international acclaim. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 60% Touriga Nacional and 40% Touriga Franca. On the nose, enticing notes of plums and blackcurrants, with a touch of mocha and dark chocolate. The wood is perfectly integrated. Silky, velvety tannins are followed by a very fresh and long aftertaste.
