Established in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest estates in Burgundy and offers a brilliant portfolio of wines from many appellations across the region. In recent years, Bouchard has made significant advances in consistency and quality and this is once again another excellent release from their 2.33ha parcel of the venerated Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru. Deep and concentrated, with delicate texture and vibrant acidity, this is a quietly elegant and precise wine that may not shout from the rooftops but delivers massively on every level. Either drink or keep, but your patience will be rewarded.
