Château de Nalys owns 50 hectares of organically farmed vines, of which 40 hectares are used to make red Châteauneuf-du-Pape, including this Gran Vin. The 2017 vintage is a blend of 59% Grenache, 32% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, 3% Counoise and 1% Vacarèse, and the wine was aged for 18 months of which 30% in wood. The nose has intense aromas of red and black berries, followed by spices. There is density and fruit on the palate with a plenty of spices in the finish.
