Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Arioso Saouma 2019

Rotem & Mounir Saouma Arioso Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2019 is a full-bodied Southern Rhône red wine made from a tiny-yielding plot of Grenache Noir in the celebrated vineyard area of Pignan. The grapes underwent an 11-day cold maceration before being vinified with whole bunches. The wine then spent three years maturing in a combination of 228l and 500l oak barrels without racking or any additions of sulphur. Having founded their now-revered Lucien Le Moine boutique micro-negociant label in 1999, Rotem and Mounir Saouma next set their sights on crafting show-stopping wines in the Southern Rhône, acquiring several vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in 2009.
