Chateau de Chambert Cahors 2014

Château de Chambert is one of the producers responsible for the rejuvenation of Cahors as a region for high quality winemaking. Having recently gained organic and biodynamic accreditation, and with additional support from consultant winemaker Stéphane Derenoncourt, this is an estate that has gone from strength to strength. This is a beautifully full-bodied yet supple wine made from a blend of 85% Malbec and 15% Merlot. It is aged for 12 months in oak to, providing subtle spicy notes and silky tannins to complement its abundant rich black fruit.
