Named after the Roman poet Ausonius, Château Ausone is located on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, close to the town of Saint-Émilion. Chapelle d`Ausone is the château’s second wine, crafted in the same process as its Gran Vin, and made with Merlot and Cabernet Franc from younger vines. The tightly-structured, mineral-infused 2000 vintage exhibits outstanding concentration as well as depth, in addition to floral, blackberry and blueberry aromas and flavours.
