Montreal-born Patrick Piuze established his own label in Chablis in 2008 having previously worked for the likes of Leflaive, Jean-Marc Brocard and Jean-Marie Guffens.
This wine is made from a specific parcel within 1er Cru Vaillons called “Les Minots” which has 70-year-old vines and a warm, southerly exposure. It is alluring and generous, unfurling in the glass with notes of pear, apple, citrus oils, white flowers and blanched almonds. Broad and textural on the palate, it has lovely precision and focus, gliding to a long, mineral-tinged finish.
