The Michel family has been making wine in the heart of Chablis since 19th Century and is one of the most respected producers in the region. Their philosophy is guided by the idea of maximum terroir expression and minimal winemaking influence, hence each of their cuvées is vinified entirely in stainless steel tank in order to maintain freshness, purity and finesse. This is a supremely classy and effortlessly harmonious iteration of Montée de Tonnerre that exhibits delicious notes of citrus zest, stone fruits, crisp green apple and honeysuckle alongside faint wisps of smoky reduction. Brilliant with food, this would pair particularly well with grilled prawns.
