Domaine William Fèvre is a leading producer in Chablis and is one of the biggest landowners with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, including significant holdings in many Premiers Crus and in six of the seven Grands Crus. Vinification remains incredibly traditional with fermentation and maturation on fine lees undertaken in a combination of stainless and seasoned oak (ave. 6 years old).
Côte Bouguerots is a steeply-sloping lieu-dit within Grand Cru Bougros that usually produces complex and highly mineral wines with ample power and density but appealing roundness. The 2017 is a superb release from a high-quality vintage and, whilst it will drink well young, it should cellar for at least a decade or more.
