The 2018 vintage of Carruades de Lafite is still very young, but the nose already reveals great complexity, accompanied by superb acidity. Initially restrained, the palate unfolds into an excellent body, with precise, harmonious tannins. The Cabernet Franc, which plays a major role in the blend, adds a vibrant freshness to it. This wine will be fully developed within 10 years but promises a much longer ageing potential.
