Capezzana Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2019

The Capezzana estate is located 24km north west of Florence and is owned by the Conti Contini Bonacossi family. Olive oil has been made at the estate since Etruscan and Roman times with the first written record of its production in 804 AD. Nowadays, Capezzana owns around 26,000 olive trees and produces high quality Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from a blend of 60% Moraiolo, 30% Frantoio, 5% Leccino and 5% Pendolino olives. This is an elegant and wonderfully balanced oil with delicate fruitiness and lingering notes of freshly cut grass and white pepper.
