A 12 year old Caol Ila aged in ex-Sherry casks and bottled exclusively for the Feis Ile. Milk chocolate, creamy vanilla, lemon zest, sea spray and peat on the nose lead into a big palate of coal smoke, candied peel and a touch of bitter cocoa. The finish is spicy and saline with a lingering smokiness.
