Bu N`Daw La Grange de Quatre Sous 2018

La Grange de Quatre Sous is an intriguing producer based in the Languedoc on a limestone plateau above Assignan in the Montagne Noire. The proprietor-winemaker is Hildegard Horat who originates from Switzerland and, indeed, has planted some varieties from her home nation which fall outside of the Appellation Controlée. Bu N’Daw is made entirely from Petite Arvine and is very slowly vinified in tanks over a period of 18 months. Attractive pale gold in colour, it offers up notes of ripe citrus fruits, delicate white flower perfume and a delicious saline tang on the finish. A brilliantly gourmand wine, this would pair particularly well with fresh seafood.
