The Sesti estate consists of 102 hectares of land, but only 9 of which are planted to vineyards. Sesti wines are widely acknowledged to be some of the finest that Montalcino has to offer. On the nose, the 2016 Brunello di Montalcino presents dark fruit ripeness and some of the spice that comes from the slow-aging process in large oak barrels. Balanced acidity and relatively soft tannins, with tart fruit flavours completing the finish.
