Situated on a stony hill above the Ombrone river, Montalcino producer Cupano boasts an estate that spans 35 hectares of organic farming. 6.4ha of which are devoted to vineyards. Produced from hand-picked Sangiovese grapes aged on the fine lees in Burgundy barrels for at least 4 years, with 40-50% new oak. Coffeed, caramel notes mingle with floral hints together with black cherry and plum character. Sold in glorious large format.
