The Fossacolle estate is located in the south of Montalcino and covers 4 hectares of vineyards, of which 2.5 are dedicated to Brunello. The wine is aged in French and Slavonian oak casks of 25hl for 24 months, in tonneaux and in French barriques of 225l. It is then matured in concrete vats for the last 12 months. The resulting wine shows great balance, elegance and complexity, which will continue to develop in the bottle. Enjoy it with a porcini mushroom risotto or white truffle and Parmesan tagliatelle.
