Donatella Cinelli Colombini Brunello di Montalcino 1997 is a mature-vintage red wine produced from Sangiovese grapes in the Montalcino appellation of Tuscany. The wines of Donatella Cinelli Colombini are aged for at least two years in French oak barrels of 5 to 7 hectolitres. The Brunello is then left to settle in 15 to 40 hectolitre barrels and then continues to age in bottle. "Sweet tobacco nose, co-mingling with panforte spices and roasted coffee beans. Plummy in the mouth, medium-bodied and fairly juicy, with ripe, smooth tannins." Vinous
