The label ‘Alte Reben’ – German for ‘old vines’ – designates a wine sourced from Bründlmayer’s oldest vines, averaging 50 years. These wines tend to be extremely flavoursome, with remarkable concentration, such as this 100% Grüner Veltliner. On the nose, fresh aromas of hay, honey blossom, melon, yellow fruit as well as apple and citrus peel. The palate presents a creamy texture, including hints of honey, freshly cut citrus fruit, apple and stone fruit. The finish is long and spicy.
