Owned by Monsieur and Madame Xavier Vayron, Château Bourgneuf is an estate of 9 hectares on the plateau of Pomerol. Their superb 2018 vintage is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% of Cabernet Franc, marked by fragrant aromas of Morello cherries, blackberry pie, crushed plums, some spiciness and oak. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has an intense core of black fruits and savoury layers, framed by rounded tannins and plenty of freshness, leading to a cocoa finish.
