Besserat de Bellefon was founded in 1843 in the town of Aÿ by Edouard Besserat. Well known for very food-friendly wines that are bottled at lower pressure, the general philosophy behind the house style is to create wines that can be drunk throughout a meal. Grande Tradition is a beautifully balanced wine produced from a blend of mostly Chardonnay with a little Pinot Noir.
