Beaulieu Vineyard Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is arguably the most iconic, and collectable, of all Napa Cabernets. Symbolising more than a century of Napa winemaking history, it is the flagship wine of Beaulieu Vineyard in the town of Rutherford, and a benchmark for the rich, concentrated Napa Cabernet style. Beaulieu vineyard was the first cult wine producer in the Napa Valley, founded in 1900 by Georges de Latour. "Quite a meaty nose with notions of chargrill and beef drippings over a core of warm cassis, blackberry pie and candied violets plus wafts of Chinese five spice and dried Provence herbs. Medium to full-bodied with 13.8% alcohol, it has a firm, chewy texture and just enough freshness, delivering a great concentration of savoury fruit, finishing long and earthy. In a maturity sweet-spot at the moment, now is a good time to drink this vintage, but there’s certainly no rush." Wine Advocate, 2019
