Owned by the Casteja family, Château Beau-Site lies on one of the higher points of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, sitting around 20m on gravel based soils. The 2009 release is composed of a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, aged in French oak for 12-14 months (40-50% new). The perfect match for red meats and roasts.
