Louis Jadot are, with Joseph Drouhin, Faiveley and Bouchard Père et Fils, one of the leading négociants of Burgundy and is considered by many to have one of the finest winemaking reputations in the region. The 2013 Bâtard-Montrachet is an exceptionally attractive wine with beautiful definition of fruit, deep aromatic complexity and impressive balance of texture, acidity and power. This should be entering its peak drinking window but it would be no surprise if it continued to delight over the next decade.
