Louis Jadot are, with Joseph Drouhin, Faiveley and Bouchard Père et Fils, one of the leading négociants of Burgundy and is considered by many to have one of the finest winemaking reputations in the region. The 2016 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is full-bodied, rich and muscular, offering up bold aromas of stone fruits, citrus, green apple, white flowers, spices and toasty oak. Tightly coiled, inwardly complex and a bit angular at present, this should come together beautifully with further time in bottle.
