Now led by Brice de la Morandière, Domaine Leflaive is one of the most influential estates in Puligny-Montrachet. The estate focuses almost entirely on white wines made from Chardonnay, including four Grand Cru and four Premier Cru expressions. This particular release hails from four parcels of Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru that were planted between 1962 and 1989. After 12 months in cask, the wine was aged for 6 months in tank before bottling. The 2021 vintage is still in its infancy but showing great depth and plenty of charm.
