The 2017 release from 5ème Cru Classé Château Batailley is tremendous. A perfect blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot, this has all the classic hallmarks of fine Pauillac – deep cassis-driven fruit, liquorice, cedar and bay. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers sumptuous black fruits with fine-grained tannins and a delicately floral finish.
