Barrua Agricola Punica 2017

A beautiful wine from Sardinian producer AgriPunica, founded in 2002 under the leadership of Tenuta San Guido, Cantina di Santadi, Antonello Pilloni and legendary Tuscan winemaker, Giacomo Tachis. Barrua is an elegant Sardinian red (Isola dei Nuraghi I.G.T.) made from an exciting blend of hand-harvested 85% Carignano, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot. Lively, deep ruby-red, with complex scents of ripe red fruit, black cherry, spices, notes of liquorice and hints of myrtle. On the palate, aromas of ripe red fruits and pepper, concluding on a persistent and harmonious finish.
