Domaine Tempier is an old family estate, owned by the Peyrauds since Lucien Peyraud married Lucie Tempier in 1936. Tempier’s La Migoua is a blend of Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah and the wine is aged in large oak casks for a minimum of 18 months before bottling. The wine is dark, laced with stewed blackcurrant, blackberry compote and macerated black cherry flavours. Complex layers of tobacco, mineral gravelly stone and liquorice.
