AA Badenhorst Family Wines are grown, made and matured on Kalmoesfontein farm in the Swartland appellation of South Africa and is owned by cousins Hein and Adi Badenhorst. The 2020 Sk’Windjiesvlei Tinta Barroca comes from a 7ha vineyard planted in 1962 when the Portuguese variety was gaining popularity in South Africa. Attractive wild aromas of blackberry, plum and briar. Medium-bodied with delicious flavours of black fruits and white pepper and a fine web of tannin providing subtle grip and drive. Sold in approachable half bottle format.
