Ardbeg 19 Year Old First Witch Macbeth Collection

The initial release in a set of four heavily peated single malts representing the Weird Sisters in Livingstone’s Macbeth collection. Since the witches remain unnamed in the original text, bottler Elixir Distillers has opted to maintain an air of mystery regarding the origin of this whisky on the label. Nevertheless, they have subtly suggested that Pedro Ximenez casks used for maturing The First Witch were filled at a distillery along Islay’s Kildalton coast. This series of Scotch whiskies inspired by Shakespeare is the result of a collaboration involving design studio Livingstone, whisky writer Dave Broom, Elixir Distillers, and the renowned illustrator Sir Quentin Blake.
