Calcarole is a 5-hectare single vineyard where the vines grow on a steep and rocky hillside. This Amarone Classico is only produced in the best vintages and in very limited quantities. Made from 63% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 10% Barbera and 7% Sangiovese that have been raisined in the drying rooms for over 3 months. Elegant in style, Calcarole is an Amarone that balances power and concentration with freshness and purity of intense, dark fruits. The 2015 vintage marks 30 years since the first bottle of Calcarole was produced and is labelled as Riserva for the first time.
