The grapes for this unique dessert wine are dried on straw mats before being pressed. The resulting wine is aged for around five years in oak barrels before bottling. Notes of dried fig, honey and caramel combine on the nose while the palate is sweet with good balancing acidity - the perfect match for strong Italian cheeses.
