Founded in 1999, Aalto Bodegas y Vinedos is a Ribera del Duero estate known for its powerful red wines made from Tempranillo – also known as Tinto Fino. This release is the 2019 vintage of Aalto’s flagship red wine, presented here in a magnum format. The wine was aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels before being bottled at 15% ABV. Aalto 2019 is a robust but elegant release, offering plenty of red fruit notes, complemented by a gentle spiciness. One for the cellar.
