Based in the Walla Walla Valley in Washington state, Cayuse produce exceptional biodynamically-farmed, limited-production wines of great individuality. The Cailloux Vineyard was the first to be planted in 1997 and produces this flagship Syrah.

The 2014 release is 93% Syrah and 7% Viognier and was awarded the highly coveted 100 point score from Robert Parker`s Wine Advocate, which describes the vintage as follows, "Sporting a surprisingly deep, inky color, it offers a heavenly bouquet of black olives, tobacco leaf, smoked meats, pepper, blackcurrant and black cherry notes. Deep, rich and ever changing in the glass, with incredible complexity and layers, this full-bodied masterpiece has building tannin, a stacked mid-palate and a great, great finish. It`s pure perfection in Syrah, and the finest vintage of this cuvee ever made. As a bonus, it’s also the largest production Syrah they produce. Bravo!"

Margaux 1996 is a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. Since the 17th century, the grand vin of Château Margaux has been recognised as being one of the greatest wines in the world. 1996 was an exceptionally late harvest and produced incredibly powerful, muscular and long-lived wines. Composed of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, this is an incredibly complex wine really only just beginning to hit its stride. It has immense layers of deeply concentrated fruits, superb mineral tension and fine, lacy tannins, with an extraordinarily long finish of outstanding precision and freshness. Perhaps one of the most complete expressions of Margaux ever released, available here in half-bottle format.

Diamond Creek has a celebrated history of producing some of the most sought-after single-vineyard wines in California. Situated on a south-facing slope, Volcanic Hill is Diamond Creek`s warmest microclimate and often produces its most powerful and long-lived wines. On the 2012. "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Volcanic Hill is the most searing and intense of these 2012 Cabernets from Diamond Creek. Crushed rocks, lavender, mint, graphite, spices and blue/purplish fruit hit the palate in an intensely mineral, savoury Cabernet built for cellaring. The flavours are bright and finely-sculpted throughout. While there is plenty of tannin underpinning the fruit, the tannin is polished and beautifully integrated.
