Starts out soft and well-structured on the palate before becoming full-bodied with impressive volume and smooth tannin. The finish is incredibly long enhanced by rich flavours that are neither heavy nor harsh. Unquestionably a very fine Haut Brion!

Château Figeac was the only estate to be upgraded to Premier Grand Cru Classé A in the 2022 classification of Saint-Émilion. Owned by the Manoncourt family since 1892, this fine estate traces its history back to the Roman era. Today, the property spans approximately 40 hectares of vineyards, with the majority of the grapes going into the celebrated Grand Vin, a classic style of Saint-Émilion with wonderful texture and tannic power. The 2020 vintage is made from a blend of 37% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Cabernet Franc. Expect notes of violets, blackcurrants, stewed strawberries and a touch of white pepper. Presented here en magnum.

The wine presents a deep ruby hue, revealing an intricate bouquet of blackcurrant, cedar and earth. The palate is medium to full-bodied, showcasing a firm structure with well-integrated tannins. Its 14.5% alcohol content is seamlessly woven into the profile. Known for its historical significance, Haut-Brion is one of the oldest classified Bordeaux estates, with origins dating back to the early 16th century. Anticipated maturity. 2024 - 2075.

One of the famous wines in the world, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild is located in Pauillac, around 30 miles north-west of Bordeaux itself. The chateau pioneered the idea of bottling their own wine in the 1920s while other prorperties were still selling & exporting in barrel. A Second Growth until 1972, the winery was official elevated to the high rank of Bordeaux classification in 1973 after much campaigning by the famous Baron Philippe de Rothschild.

Alongside the quality of their wine, the chateau is also famous for commissioning world famous artists to create its labels with a new design featuring each year.

Under talented winemaker Bruno Gaspard and the current owners, the Vacheron family, Clos du Caillou has established itself as one of the best producers in the Rhône. The 2007 Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Réserve is a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre. The nose is quite powerful, with aromas of sweet spices, tobacco leaves, dry prunes and some flint. On the palate, notes of fig liqueur, candied dates and oriental spices.
