Mazis-Chambertin

The most northerly Grand Cru in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, Mazis-Chambertin is located in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, on the same section of slope at the illustrious Chambertin Granc Cru from which it derives its name. Like the Pinot Noirs of Le Chambertin, those of Mazis-Chambertin are concentrated, finely structured and complex, with huge ageing potential. In quality terms, the vineyard is often coupled with Latricières-Chambertin and only slightly behind the great Chambertin itself.
