Formed at the start of the 20th century, Armand Rousseau is a leading estate in Burgundy, producing some of most collectible wines in the world. The Domaine is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and consists of approximately 15 hectares, over half of which is situated in Grand Cru sites. This release comes from Mazis-Chambertin, a Grand Cru vineyard where Rousseau owns a 0.53-hectare plot. The 1995 vintage yielded a small crop in Burgundy, but the wines are of excellent quality and built to age.
