Clos de Vougeot

At more than 50ha, this historic Grand Cru is the largest in the region and is very fragmented, with more than 100 small plots owned by more than 80 producers. Its wines are commensurately varied in both style and quality, though those from parcels on the middle and top slope of the clos are generally recognised as the best.
