Auchentoshan, one of Scotland’s few triple-distilled single malt distilleries, is renowned for producing an exceptionally smooth and elegant spirit. Bottled at a robust 60-61% ABV, it retains a vibrant and structured profile. Expect bright citrus zest and honeyed malt on the nose, with hints of vanilla and gentle spice from the oak.

The cask was filled on the 26th January 2018 and regauged on the 11th February 2025. Currently, it is estimated to yield around 240 bottles and the ABV is currently 60-61%.

Filled at 63.5% ABV with an Original Litres of Alcohol (OLA) of approximately 310, it promises a complex and balanced development over time. Expect powerful peat smoke, coastal salinity, and a refined sherry cask influence as it matures.

HED04881

25000 cl
63.4% ABV
£2,500.00
Craigellachie is known for producing a robust, meaty style of Speyside whisky—often described as weighty in its youth—thanks to the use of worm tub condensers. This refill hogshead of Craigellachie was filled on 4th November 2024 at a cask strength of 63.4% ABV. A refill cask allows the signature distillery character - gentle funk, stewed orchard fruits, cereal sweetness, and a touch of char - to take centre stage, gradually mellowing over time into a rich and complex dram.
